Thank you so much for attending the Ananda Harvest event on Thursday. It was huge success. We surpassed our expectations, raising thousands of dollars and welcoming many new farmers into our community.
For those who are interested in staying involved with Ananda Harvest, there are many ways!
Become a Farmer/Volunteer: Help us build the farm from the ground up. Get a one-year membership to Ananda Ashram, free camping, and access to complementary yoga, meditation classes, and more when you come up and volunteer on the farm for only $100. You can go here to donate. Note: please select “Ananda Harvest” in the drop down menu.
Visit Ananda Ashram: Founding Farmer or not, anyone is welcome to come up to Ananda and see what it’s all about. Only an hour away from NYC, Ananda Ashram is the ultimate retreat. If you’re interested in visiting Ananda for a weekend and want to help us tend the garden and build a cabin, please leave us a comment on our blog post for weekend trips (or join the facebook group and follow the trips) and we will help get you set up.
Keep up with the Harvest: Look for us on Facebook (Ananda Harvest Group), Follow us on Twitter, See the photos on Flickr, and continue checking in (or contributing!) to our blog.
Another big thank you to all those who helped make this event possible. Sustainable Party for the awesome biodegradeable cups and dishware, Russ&Daughters and Eden&Gabby catering for amazing food, Jade and the Chen family for a beautiful venue (go here to learn more about TF Chen and his artwork at Jade’s), Johanna for beautiful posters, and Audio Piranha Group for all our sound support.
Love,
The Ananda Harvest Farmers
